A new direction—
A former lawyer and, most recently, an adjunct professor of legal writing at Fordham Law School, Eileen Minnefor has completed her first novel and is currently working on a historical fiction book inspired by her two grandmothers.
A graduate of Middlebury College and Harvard Law School, Eileen’s most interesting legal job was probably serving as an Assistant General Counsel at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Much to the disappointment of everyone who asks, she did not get to train at Quantico or carry a gun in that position.
Eileen’s law review article, “Looking for Fair Trials in the Information Age: The Need for More Stringent Gag Orders Against Trial Participants,” was published by the University of San Francisco Law Review in 1995.
Eileen lives with her husband in Brooklyn, New York, and enjoys frequent visits with their two grown sons.
